English to Chinese translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / Miranda Warning
English term or phrase: when quetioned
It may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court
如果您在被质疑时不提及您以后在将要在法庭上依赖的东西,可能会损害您的辩护

这个是英国的MIRANDA WARNING

你们觉得我这样翻译对吗

我觉得原来的英文版应该改成下面,否色容易造成歧义
It may harm your defence if you do not mention, when being questioned, something which you later rely on in court.

or

It may harm your defence if you do not mention something which you later rely on in court, when being questioned,

大家认为对吗

原来的英文版很容易搞混

Chinese translation:被询问/盘问时
Explanation:
同意你对整句结构的理解。
大概就是这样:...mention, when questioned, something...
唯一有点不同意见的是,把“质疑”改成“询问/盘问”会不会更好一些?

Explanation:
我想原来的版本并没有大问题,只要警察在读 MIRANDA WARNING 的时候在 when questioned 之前和后稍停一下(加两个 commas)。

It may harm your defence if you do not mention, when questioned, something which you later rely on in court.

如果在被询问的时候你不提及你将来在法庭上需依赖的事项,这样可能会损害你的辩护。
