permanent ytelse 'permanent' (UK: continuing) benefit Explanation: It is the illness, disability or 'incapacity' that is permanent, rather than the payment of disability benefit. Cut to temporary/ permanent partial/full incapacity etc. in France: La rente d'incapacité permanente partielle (IPP) est versée par la Caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM). Norwegian corporate - shipping & engineering - clients in my experience, though, (and that shall remain nameless) would prefer a literal 'permanent' translation. So 'he who pays the piper calls the tune'. Otherwise, this question needs (to) be prefixed with permament and does *not* research / Google well. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 7 mins (2023-03-24 11:40:42 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- You are welcome ! I think part of the problem could lie in the ambiguity of the UK term of 'permanent disability benefit' and that would 'of been' lost on the average, semi-literate British Daily Mail reader: https://legalaidatwork.org/factsheet/workers-compensation-pe... Reference: comment Reference information: 1) you don't give enough context in Norwegian. 2) Why can't you research this yourself online? (it's what we would have to do) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 heure (2023-03-22 13:11:29 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- p.s. there seem to be a lot more hits for "disability pension", rather than "disability benefits". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 heures (2023-03-22 15:39:30 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- thanks for your answer I just wanted you to provide a sentence or two in NOrwegian containing your query:) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 heures (2023-03-22 15:40:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- see: https://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=1123&langId=en&in... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 heures (2023-03-22 15:42:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- You can receive disability benefit until you are 67 years old. After the age of 67, anyone receiving disability benefit will receive retirement pension instead. |
