Thin enlargement of the plica Explanation: fine= "di spessore o diametro notevolmente ridotti, sottile" (Nuovo Devoto-Oli digitale) iperplasia="aumento delle dimensioni di un organo o di un tessuto" (Nuovo Devoto-Oli digitale) see reference just to see the use of the word PLICA in a medical context. The link refers to the Knee Plica Syndrome. In this case we do not know if its is a syndrome and I would stick to the meaning of the expression from the medical record. https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/knee-plica https://www.merckmanuals.com/professional/injuries-poisoning/sports-injury/knee-pain?query=plicae |

Reference: More info on synovial plicae Reference information: https://radsource.us/synovial-plicae-knee Doesn't your text specifiy which synovial plica appears slightly thickened on MRI? As you can see in the reference, they seem to be qualified as "thickened" when abnormal |
