rundsling vs. bandsling/bandstropp Explanation: Web slings are a little stiffer than round slings and tend to have a wider surface area as you go up to bigger working loads. Having a wide flat surface area reduces the amount of force on one given point. We see these used for more delicate loads such as items made from fibreglass.2 okt. 2018 roundsling = rundsling. Round in shape webbing sling = bandsling or bandstropp. See: https://www.lyfta.se/shop/category/414 Here they show "bandsling"/"bandstropp" and "rundsling" with pictures. This site is highly trustworthy and not likely translated, since the company is based in Sweden. Their knowledge in the field seems high! You can further google the terms to verify if you like to. Use "bandsling" if it´s a flat, wide band with no "loops" at the ends. Use "bandstropp" if it´s a flat, wide band with "loops" at the ends. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 24 minuter (2023-01-19 13:10:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In regards to what general term you should use ... well. The SE, trustworthy site uses "Mjuka lyftredskap" and then there are a variety of "stropp/sling". Perhaps mjuka lyftredskap would work? |
