Anybody have an idea about this Insurance term the literl translation does not make sense?

Conforme item 6 da Cláusula Particular De Múltiplos Segurados, é dito que “a(s) Seguradora(s) desiste(m) de todos os direitos de sub-rogação que a(s) mesma(s) possa(m) ter ou adquirir contra qualquer parte segurada, exceto quando os direitos ou recursos de sub-rogação forem adquiridos em consequência ou de outra forma, se seguirem a um Ato Viciante, em cujas circunstâncias a(s) Seguradora(s) possa(m) exercer tais direitos, independentemente da continuação do estado anterior da parte viciante como segura
