apical brightening Explanation: I do not know whether "brightening" is the common term in English. Anyway, this is what it means. It is a kind of osteolysis. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 Min. (2008-08-20 15:48:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Of course, the brightening is not the osteolysis, but the latter is the cause of the brightening to be seen in the x-ray image. |
