There is more red with an incandescent light bulb, and more blue in shadows. Explanation: Hey Casey, Color is often used to describe how a light source shines with varying intensities across different color bands in the electro-magnetic spectrum. These properties depend on the materials used to make the light source, and other environmental conditions (whether its in a gas or not, etc.). (Loads of more info is available by searching for 'visible spectrum', etc.) It sounds like this is describing the color-properties of imagery taken under different lighting conditions, so that there are more reds with incandescent light bulbs, and more blues under shadow conditions. You could use terminology like, "there are more reds...", "there is more more red", or "it is higher in the red region." Hope this helps. |
