From https://map.japanpost.jp/smt/search/inf/300131087000/, you can see that the phone number for that post office is 0767-77-1842. I just called the post office and asked them whether their location is pronounced たかばたけいべ or たかばたけいぶ, and they said たかばたけいぶ. I asked them whether in English it would be spelled たかばたけスペースいぶ, and they said that that is correct. Incidentally, according to 『日本歴史地名大系』, the landed estate 高畠庄 (たかばたけのしよう) existed in that area as far back as the year 1221. |
