just persuading someone to do a work. Explanation: In english terms, there is no generally used phrase for this. It means that you are sworn of myself. It actually means that if the fact will not be truth then I'll be hurt by god because oath is taken by keeping myself as ransom!!! :) Actually these words are said by wives, girl friends, best friends, siblings, family members to their respective husbands, boyfriends/girlfriends,b.f., siblings, family members to persuade him/her Hope it satisfies you! tumhe meri kasam Explanation: I think that in English, we might say "I give you my oath" or "I swear to you" (maybe even adding "on my mother's grave") to convey the same meaning, or if someone wants to be even more dramatic and emphatic, they might say, "as God is my witness, etc." |
