French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general)
French term or phrase: x
This is a brief email describing the medical condition of a patient.

"Étourdissements x intermittent depuis avoir cessé bromazépam x 20 jours"

I think "x" means times and that makes sense for the 2nd "xz" ("x 20 jours") but not sure how to handle the first "x".

intermittent dizziness

Explanation:
I don't know what (if anything) it stands for, but I think the meaning is clear from the context.

Could it be a '+', meaning more?

agree  Keith Jackson: Yep. It's the equivalent of a doctor's bad handwriting in the form of an email. Intermittent dizziness since stopping bromazepam for 20 days.

Explanation:
Also possible: The x could mean "made worse by", as in compounding the problems.
