English term or phrase: pull back in a swing
Play with your child (3 year old) outside, by playing “ready, set, go.”
For example, pull your child back in a swing.

What does it mean?
Is it some baseball term? If yes, what does it mean in this context?

Thank you in advance

Selected answer:not baseball
Explanation:
This is referring to an adult “pushing” a child in a swing on a swingset on a playground. The action begins with the adult first pulling back on the swing and then releasing it. Nothing to do with baseball.

agree  Daryo: can't see what else would make sense, although I can't see the connection with “ready, set, go.”

-> It’s a game adults play with children. As the adult pulls back the swing, they say to the child, “Ready?” Then they hold the swing in mid air for a second and say, “Set.” Finally the adult releases the swing and says, “Go!”

agree  Christopher Schröder: Yeah, probably golf😂

Getting out of a situation at once, fast, or leaving a situation behind.

Explanation:
To pull back, it means to put it behind you.
In a swing, I think it means "at once", with no need of having to do it again.
