English translation: pink pages / little pink book

English language (monolingual) [PRO]
English term or phrase: expression
I need a term to describe a 'guidebook' which a gay person would buy with information on where to 'score'.
informal context. It's for a comic strip and the idea is that this 'guidebook' has been his salvation since his boyfriend left him.
Any ideas please?
Thank you.

While we're at it what's the best term in this context for 'score/pull' etc.. ?

Selected answer:pink pages / little pink book
Explanation:
The pink pages (apparently!) actually exists and is a guide to all things gay and lesbian ...

The little pink book would be a play on the famous 'little black book' full of useful addresses.

A good translation would also depend on your audience ... the above are informal without being offensive.

I'd go for 'pulling' rather than 'scoring' ... maybe that's a UK/US distinction.

Sounds like you're having fun!

OK Ann, given your additional comment that we\'re talking about something altogether sleazier ... how about something like a \'cruising guide\'. An internet search on \'cruising guide\' + gay comes up with a few choice hits!

agree  cheungmo: "Little pink book" is perfect! I'd read "pink pages" more like "yellow pages": a telephone book for gay-friendly businesses.

an A-Z of pubs, club, bars etc

I think Little Pink Book is really good, but in alluding to the Little Black Book makes me think more of personal names and numbers already collected.

'score/pull'...perhaps 'Places to make new friends!' (maybe a bit tame, though)

cheese and chorizo guide

Explanation:
You asked "describes" rather than a title of a book.

Apparently, "cheesing" (I won't explain why) means "to search for sex", and "chorizo" is gay slang for "penis". I figured the alliteration would be cute and the gays should get it.
