de første bakkene Explanation: In most ski resorts, it's about getting into the lift and slope system, as in ski in/ski out. In Trysil, the Radisson offers true ski in, ski out, despite being located a bit away from what some might call the main slopes. So you ski down the first slope, and catch the lift that takes you into the system of 30 other lifts and 68 other slopes. And trust me - it is plural, as no resort on the planet would have just one. |

hovedbakkene Explanation: 'it is located next to the front slopes' (slopes is plural). I am a skiier, have skiied 6 different counties, including many areas of Norway when I lived there. We always referred to carparks 'like ved hovedbakkene' (the front slopes being the main point of entry for the rest of the ski runs). Example sentence(s):
