原文を見て思ったのですが、これはnon-native speakerが書いた英語であることが明らかです。非常にわかりづらく、私が提案した預金の使い道、という意味で使われているのであれば、このような書き方をまずしないでしょうし、TO PREPARE THE FUTUREの部分も前置詞の”FOR”が抜けています(to prepare "for" the futureが正しい文法)。これを書いた人が「将来に備えるため」という意味で書いたのであれば、上述の"for"が必要ですし、将来（または未来）を作る、という意味で書いたのであれば、makeやcreate the futureと普通は書くでしょう。
少し超訳になってしまいましたが、将来に備えての貯金の使い道が訳としては適切だと思います。
