Interestingly, pictures of \'baguette\' on the Internet are pictures of \'French bread\' as we know it here in the U.S. If \'bageta\' is what the Czechs call it nowadayz, then be it. It used to be called \'veka\'. I thought perhaps they use \'bageta\' for what we call here in the U.S. a \'French roll\'.

Explanation:
in czech language we use both, either one will do fine. Bageta comes from a french word and it tends to be slimer that classical czech veka.
