'francouzský chléb', 'veka' Explanation: 'veka' is the common term for French style of bread, although a dictionary translates it as 'bread roll' -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-11-19 21:15:57 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Interestingly, pictures of \'baguette\' on the Internet are pictures of \'French bread\' as we know it here in the U.S. If \'bageta\' is what the Czechs call it nowadayz, then be it. It used to be called \'veka\'. I thought perhaps they use \'bageta\' for what we call here in the U.S. a \'French roll\'. |
