Wenn der Verkäufer seinen Verpflichtungen nicht nachkommt Explanation: 'tekort schieten' ist natürlich je nach Zusammenhang etwas unterschiedlich zu übersetzen, eventuell auch mit 'versagen', aber im gegebenen Kontext erscheint mir 'seinen Verpflichtungen nicht nachkommen' am besten.
