Danish term or phrase: kørselsafregning
I'm translating a company's guidelines for employee use of personal vehicles for company purposes. Afregning is normally 'settlement' - but it looks like SKAT uses 'kørselsafregning' more like a log/statement of kilometres driven? They also talk about high and low rates, which, I believe, refer to the per-kilometre allowance rate.

See SKAT's example here: https://skat.dk/media/qsydhtjj/koerselsgodtgoerelse-2018-udf...

Does anyone know the equivalent to this kørselsAFREGNING in English? My deadline is today, so no need to post suggestions tomorrow - thanks!

Asker: If you look at SKAT's link and the context, how about 'approving statements of kilometres driven'?

(company-car motoring) mileage account (taken); statement drawn

Explanation:
A blank is, exceptionally, drawn with my Bailey's (non-Irish Cream) financial DAN/ENG dictionary, though others on ProZ are in possession of sound (?) alternative glossaries.

I'll leave others to post mileage claim, but I am sure afregning works like Abrechnung in DEU and 'liquidacion' in SPA, in both of which lingos it def. means a (*statement* of) a/c drawn, taken or (nobly or igminiously) presented.

I've also prefixed mileage account with motoring as there could be a mix-up with an airlines' Frequent Flyer - Miles & More proram/me - mileage account. Pls. see the first example sentence.

Over to our good-humo(u)red Transatlantic colleagues in the US of A !

I know Pernille, but I am *NOT* referring to you and other worthy, venerable and venerated Canadian colleagues whom I met (or who, for some reason, shunned me) - in the North American summer all of 21 years ago - at the FIT World Translators' *and Interpreters* Congress in Vancouver, BC, rather others esconced in the (Deep) South.

I kknow. Again I was taking a swipe and 'shooting across the bows' of a couple of bad-tempered ProZ colleagues who, with an understandable agenda of their own, rarely agree with my answers. Sob, sob!

Example sentence(s):
  • Miles & More ! he miles you have earned will be credited to your mileage account automatically after the flight.
