Medical - Idioms / Maxims / Sayings / expressing caution over a question of ethics
Danish term or phrase: luren: Jeg er noget luren ved at svare præcist på det
This comes in an e-mail answer to a question addressed to an ethical committee, and although the question is simple enough, it has implications...

So the first sentence of the answer is:
Jeg er noget luren ved at svare præcist på det.

Then comes a long and fairly informal discussion, citation of regulations etc.

I think the sentence means ´I am a bit uncertain´ or ´It is hard to give a cut-and-dried- answer´.

Could it be a typo for loren?
Gyldendals suggests nervous, uneasy
to be chary about

Thanks for any suggestions!

Explanation:
I think you're right that it's a typo for "loren", which according to Politikens Nudansk Ordbog has this definition<.

loren ved ng(t) som er urolig og bekymret for noget = betænkelig

So either what you already have or perhaps "hesitant" would work nicely in this context?
