Testo teatrale canadese (per la messa in scena e non per la pubblicazione). Dialogo tra due persone. Una delle due è un uomo lasciato dalla moglie che si lamenta dell'invadenza del suo nuovo fidanzato.

A: He’s so wrong for her. He’s a weasel……no substance. The worst part is that I can’t even have a conversation with her without him 2 feet away. If I could only get her alone for a while she’d probably see that for herself.

La mia proposta:

A: La cosa peggiore è che non posso scambiare due parole con lei senza lui a un metro di distanza. Se solo ci vedessimo da soli per un attimo, lo capirebbe da sola anche lei.
