coagulate base Explanation: Polyurethane coated fabric has two different manufacturing processes, the Wet PU Process, and the Dry PU Process. "The Wet PU manufacturing process consists of coating a coagulated base on a substrate backing...In the Dry PU manufacturing process, the **coagulate base** is totally eliminated. The PU is coated directly on the face of the backing." I would say that, although you might need to ask a few questions of the client to really clarify this further, I think that if you go with "coagulate base" you certainly have some strong basis to back it up. I would ask the client if this term "coagulado" is referring to the PU coating altogether, or to a specific manufacturing process. It sounds like it's the second, but you might want to ask if it does just mean (as you surmised) that there is no PU coating or resin of any kind.
