La logica sottostante è che una società “X” offre ai suoi investitori, in aggiunta alla possibilità di investire nei suoi fondi “X”, altri fondi esterni gestiti da una società “W” e una società “Z”. Di solito, a questi fondi esterni sono associate delle commissioni (charges) di gestione aggiuntive.
