Back in 2005, while still operating a small computer business, I began working in the language and translation industry -along with my German partner- localizing websites and proofreading all translations before the final publishing of the site.
From there, I slowly gained more customers who employed me not only to translate websites and other internet-related business data, but also other business documents and technical texts. My main responsibilities were to ensure a true and accurate final English copy.
After moving to Germany in 2008, I expanded my language-related services to include private English instruction (one-on-one) and I increased my teaching experiences by teaching medical and business English through several international companies for both German and Russian business clients. (I am a previous PROZ member since 2007, but took a short hiatus starting in 2017 to care for my family and to further my education.)
