Закон Украины "О хозяйственных обществах"

Russian to English Other Law (general) Ukrainian law
The difficulty here is that this is a Russian translation of the title of a Ukrainian law. There is a Ukrainian law "On Economic Associations". Is "associations" a fair enough translation of "oбщества"?

Are there any Ukrainian speakers out there with knowledge of this law?

Any of the options below could work What really matters here is the established usage, i.e. which of them is most commonly used. Google all three and see which of them gets more solid hits. That's how I usually do it in such cases. Also, quite often the quality of the translation itself is fairly immaterial. What are we going to do, fight windmills here?

The official translation of this law on the website of Ukraine's Parliament is the Law of Ukraine "On Business Associations."

Law of Ukraine on Commercial Companies

This version is routinely used by most law firms. They sometimes translate "общества" as "societies", but "companies" fits the bill most of the time. "Societies" is also used in the Russian Civil Code for "общества" as opposed to "комании".
