Hello all,
I'm afraid this is all I have - a single term in an Excel spreadsheet otherwise related to medical software. I've asked the client for clarification/an explanation, but don't expect to hear back from them till later, so thought I'd post it on here to see if anyone knew off-hand.
Really, really sorry for the lack of context, but if anyone happens to know, I'd be grateful!
Thanks a lot!
Hilary.

revenue/sales trend
Not much more than a guess, of course, so please wait for comments.
To me, "Umsatzverlauf" sounds as if they are talking about the revenue or sales (more US, I think) the co. generates by selling the software your source material is about. Does the spreadsheet include any related figures/diagrams?

Well, then, they might use the "Umsatz" cell to just enter the figures while the "Umsatzverlauf" could reflect a comparison or trend over time.

"sales development" might be OK, too.

Note from asker:
The only other thing it includes is another cell containing the word "Umsatz". No diagrams, explanations or further context at all yet, I'm afraid! |

rate (or volume) of turnover
Instead of "turnover,", "sales" may even be clearer
Discussion
It refers to "development of sales", apparently - how much they have increased. Would "sales development" work?
Thanks a lot!
