Could this be a scam?

I have just received a job proposal by e-mail and feel it could be a scam so would like people's opinions.

Some factors catch my eye:
1. No e-mail, contact name or address given
2. No company name
3. No experience required: "Desperately seeking translators"
4. Contact box to fill in "Sign Up Now"
5. They say that you will receive "other money-making opportunities"

"other money-making opportunities"? Dec 14, 2011

If it looks fishy and smells fishy, it's fishy!

Yes Dec 14, 2011

With no other info besides contact box, it could very well lead you to a site that will plant a virus on your pc, or some other nefarious scheme to take over your computer.

Best to delete immediately.

Another oddity Dec 14, 2011

Something else strange - for some reason they only target the English to Portuguese pair.

Only one language pair...as of yet. Dec 14, 2011

The sender of this email seems to be even less smart than his/her "colleagues".

Other money opportunities - is this some kind of "how to become rich in less than 1 second" lottery? The sender of this email has definitely earned the "Scammer Red Raspberry" Award.

Don't touch it with a barge pole. Generally speaking, when it looks too easy to make the money, and when no questions are asked, the "offer" is a con.
