Can anyone tell me the best Translation and Interpretation schools or universities in China?
For English to Chinese and Chinese to English language pair.

For interpretation, I understand UIBE to be the best. For translation, I don't know - I wouldn't trust any Chinese institution, frankly.

我觉得就笔译而言，其实要解决的就两个问题：一个是原文的理解问题，一个是目标语言的表达问题。

个人以为，本网站的 Terminology 区，就是一个学习笔译的好学校。其中的问题都是来自于真实的翻译稿件，往往具有一定的典型性和难度，而且有不少的翻译好手做解答，经常研究这些译者提出的问题，对于提高原文理解能力，大有帮助。另外，经常参考借鉴其中译者给出的参考译文，对于提高表达能力也会很有帮助。更重要的是，这些都是免费的！当然，你也可以参与解答其中的问题，给出自己的译文，这是很好的实践练习机会。

另外，现在市面上有各种翻译教程，可以买来参考。不一定要上培训学校。
