Just completing part one of a shareholders' agreement which is to be split into a million sections to be worked on by a million linguists with an insane deadline by a very large translation agency, at an agreed rate, just had an email saying the agency miscalculated the word count and that since the project is so much bigger than they thought, they have to reduce the rate by 1.5 cents per word, I can either accept this revised rate for the work I have already carried out, or I will be paid the full agreed rate for the work I have done but the rest of the wordcount to be assigned to me will be assigned to another linguist...I am raging!
