Eggs with tea + coffee Jun 29

My usual breakfast is a cup of jasmine tea, a rocket omelette, two thin slices of ham, a few cherry tomatoes, followed by an espresso coffee. Occasionally, if I wake up very late (like today), I have just a buttered slice of brown bread with an espresso coffee.

...not without some cheese Jun 30

Two slices of whole grain seed bread, cold salted Irish butter, two small wedges of cured cheese (goats or sheeps) and PG Tips tea, black. It used to be a fresh butter croissant with orange marmalade and three wedges of cheese, but I've been trying to improve my nutrition.

Hot chocolate Jul 1

My breakfast is a mug of hot chocolate. At around noon, I have lunch, which is either breakfast cereal or a bowl of delicious soup.

Coffee + Jul 1

It varies, but maybe:

Slice of bread with butter + coffee with milk
Savory pastry + coffee with milk

If I had a bigger dinner, then my breakfast is usually lighter as I am not that hungry in the morning.

Toast, cheese, and coffee Jul 1

These are the three things my breakfast can't do without: if I don't have cheese, I might as well go out and buy it. I usually have flatbread in the pantry, so my most common breakfast version are two wraps or pockets with eggs, cheese, a couple of deli slices, and some paste like hummus, liver spread, etc., all grilled on a cast iron under a weight. Not healthy, I know, but not to worry, especially if you bear in mind what acronym is used in Russian to mean healthy lifestyle (it will make you cringe when you pronounce it, and yet there are people who do so with veneration—as if a good thing could indeed be called ZOZh [ЗОЖ]; sorry if this revelation causes someone to lose sleep for a while)Collapse
