With a BA in German and French from the USA, and 18 years living and working in Germany, I have been in an international environment for most of my life. My expertise in languages has led me to work for companies in which I was responsible for the translation of technical, business and legal documentation and interpreting.
I continued my studies taking an LLB (Hons) at the University of London, with specialisations in Intellectual Property Law and EU Law. Wanting to broaden my knowledge of the legal system, I then, successfully, completed a postgraduate certificate in Child Law at the University of Northumbria. I have also worked for both British and German lawyers in the areas of Conveyancing, Wills and Probate and German Civil Law which has supported my knowledge base.
After several years of managing a German speaking translation business, including regular translation and proofreading work, I feel confident that I can provide a service that is not only high quality and reliable but also with friendly, prompt communication.
