I was educated in an English Language school in Alexandria, Egypt, then went on to graduate with Grade Good as a Civil Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.
My first job with a governmental unit working to develop gineries with collaboration with a British Consultant firm. In addition to my engineering duties I was also responsible for translation of various material.
Two years later I decided, for personal reasons, to work as a freelance translator. The circle of my customers increased to include, in addition to students writing their thesis, educational and international bodies.
All the people I worked with vouch for my competence, accuracy and speed.
I was later employed at the Defence Section, British Embassy, in Cairo as Head Translator. I worked there from March 2003 until I retired in April 2016.
I have a lot of free time which I would like to use in doing the work I love, and make use of my abilities to benefit the people who need them.
