After graduating from the prestigious National Institute of Modern Languages, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, joined my alma mater as lecturer. At NIML, I taught English language to both national and international students for one year before joining the GIK Institute. I specialize in the teaching of functional courses based on audio-visual aids. My research work is on stylistic techniques in the exploitation of a literary text, proving the contention that language and literature teaching could be mutually reinforcing.

Worked as a sub-editor for an English newspaper
Successfully completed many translation assignments on a wide range of subject for agencies in Pakistan and abroad.

Translated large number of forms for NIC department (NADRA) in Pakistan. Employed by government of Pakistan as one of many translators required for translation of NADRA Database.

Lived 18 years in Kuwait and am very comfortable with Arabic.
