Cost-of-carry model is an arbitrage-free pricing model.
Its central theme is that futures contract is so priced as to preclude arbitrage profit.
In other words, investors will be indifferent to spot and futures market to execute their buying and selling of underlying asset because the prices they obtain are effectively the same.
Expectations do influence the price, but they influence the spot price and, through it, the futures price.
They do not directly influence the futures price.
According to the cost-of-carry model, the futures price is given by Futures price(Fp) = Spot Price(Sp) + Carry Cost(Cc) - Carry Return(Cr) (1)
Carry cost (CC) is the interest cost of holding the underlying asset (purchased in spot market) until the maturity of futures contract.
Carry return (CR) is the income (e.g., dividend) derived from underlying asset during holding period.
Thus, the futures price (F) should be equal to spot price (S) plus carry cost minus carry return.
If it is otherwise, there will be arbitrage opportunities as follows
When F > (S + CC - CR): Sell the (overpriced) futures contract, buy the underlying asset in spot market and carry it until the maturity of futures contract.
This is called "cash-and-carry" arbitrage.
When F < (S + CC - CR): Buy the (under priced) futures contract, short-sell the underlying asset in spot market and invest the proceeds of short-sale until the maturity of futures contract.

Amateur film gauge introduced by Eastman Kodak.
In the camera, it was the same size with standard 16mm film but with double perforations.
At the picture area of a typical 16mm film, four frames of 8mm were recorded, two in the first run and two when turning the film cassette to the other side to expose the other half width, much like audio cassettes are used.
When processed, it was slit lengthwise to produce a double length (usually 50ft) Regular 8mm film for projection.
A better variant, Super 8mm was introduced by Eastman Kodak in 1965.
This had smaller perforations which allowed for 50% increase of the image size and hence more detail could be recorded.
The larger frame also allowed for larger projection sizes than were possible with standard 8mm (called Regular 8mm) film.

Source text - English Modern interfaces connect an HDD to a host bus interface adapter (today typically integrated into the "south bridge") with one data/control cable.
Each drive also has an additional power cable, usually direct to the power supply unit.
Small Computer System Interface (SCSI), originally named SASI for Shugart Associates System Interface, was standard on servers, workstations, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and Apple Macintosh computers through the mid-1990s, by which time most models had been transitioned to IDE (and later, SATA) family disks.
The range limitations of the data cable allows for external SCSI devices.
Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE), later standardized under the name AT Attachment (ATA, with the alias P-ATA or PATA (Parallel ATA) retroactively added upon introduction of SATA) moved the HDD controller from the interface card to the disk drive.
This helped to standardize the host/controller interface, reduce the programming complexity in the host device driver, and reduced system cost and complexity.
The 40-pin IDE/ATA connection transfers 16 bits of data at a time on the data cable.
The data cable was originally 40-conductor, but later higher speed requirements for data transfer to and from the HDD led to an "ultra DMA" mode, known as UDMA.
Progressively swifter versions of this standard ultimately added the requirement for an 80-conductor variant of the same cable, where half of the conductors provides grounding necessary for enhanced high-speed signal quality by reducing cross talk.
EIDE was an unofficial update (by Western Digital) to the original IDE standard, with the key improvement being the use of direct memory access (DMA) to transfer data between the disk and the computer without the involvement of the CPU, an improvement later adopted by the official ATA standards.
By directly transferring data between memory and disk, DMA eliminates the need for the CPU to copy byte per byte, therefore allowing it to process other tasks while the data transfer occurs.
Fibre Channel (FC) is a successor to parallel SCSI interface on enterprise market.
It is a serial protocol.
In disk drives usually the Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) connection topology is used.
FC has much broader usage than mere disk interfaces, and it is the cornerstone of storage area networks (SANs).
Recently other protocols for this field, like iSCSI and ATA over Ethernet have been developed as well.
Confusingly, drives usually use copper twisted-pair cables for Fibre Channel, not fibre optics.
The latter are traditionally reserved for larger devices, such as servers or disk array controllers.
Serial Attached SCSI (SAS).
The SAS is a new generation serial communication protocol for devices designed to allow for much higher speed data transfers and is compatible with SATA.
SAS uses a mechanically identical data and power connector to standard 3.5-inch SATA1/SATA2 HDDs, and many server-oriented SAS RAID controllers are also capable of addressing SATA HDDs.
SAS uses serial communication instead of the parallel method found in traditional SCSI devices but still uses SCSI commands.
Serial ATA (SATA).
The SATA data cable has one data pair for differential transmission of data to the device, and one pair for differential receiving from the device, just like EIA-422.
That requires that data be transmitted serially.
A similar differential signaling system is used in RS485, LocalTalk, USB, FireWire, and differential SCSI.

Source text - English Many of the Absurdists were contemporaries with Jean-Paul Sartre, the philosophical spokesman for existentialism in Paris, but few Absurdists actually committed to Sartre's own existentialist philosophy, as expressed in Being and Nothingness, and many of the Absurdists had a complicated relationship with him.
Sartre praised Genet's plays, stating that for Genet, "Good is only an illusion. Evil is a Nothingness which arises upon the ruins of Good".
Ionesco, however, hated Sartre bitterly.
Ionesco accused Sartre of supporting Communism but ignoring the atrocities committed by Communists; he wrote Rhinoceros as a criticism of blind conformity, whether it be to Nazism or Communism; at the end of the play, one man remains on Earth resisting transformation into a rhinoceros Sartre criticized Rhinoceros by questioning: "Why is there one man who resists? At least we could learn why, but no, we learn not even that. He resists because he is there".
Sartre's criticism highlights a primary difference between the Theatre of the Absurd and existentialism: the Theatre of the Absurd shows the failure of man without recommending a solution.
In a 1966 interview, Claude Bonnefoy, comparing the Absurdists to Sartre and Camus, said to Ionesco, "It seems to me that Beckett, Adamov and yourself started out less from philosophical reflections or a return to classical sources, than from first-hand experience and a desire to find a new theatrical expression that would enable you to render this experience in all its acuteness and also its immediacy. If Sartre and Camus thought out these themes, you expressed them in a far more vital contemporary fashion".
Ionesco replied, "I have the feeling that these writers – who are serious and important – were talking about absurdity and death, but that they never really lived these themes, that they did not feel them within themselves in an almost irrational, visceral way, that all this was not deeply inscribed in their language. With them it was still rhetoric, eloquence. With Adamov and Beckett it really is a very naked reality that is conveyed through the apparent dislocation of language".

Source text - English Ever since Pierre-Simon Laplace envisioned the Hypothetical "Laplace's Demon" in 1814, an entity with infinite computing power that knows the exact location and velocity of every particle in the universe, there has been speculation that if one had such abilities, the past, present, and future of the universe can be predicted.
However, there are limits to even this kind of knowledge, and it may very well be impossible for mankind to ever find the much sought-after "Theory of Everything".
Does Laplace's Demon hold proof of Predestination?
Could it even exist?
We will examine these questions shortly.
Let us assume, for one moment, that Laplace's Demon not only could exist, but it is real.
The entity is sitting in a laboratory, doing computations, and feeding scientists data about the future of the universe.
This scenario could be thought of as absolute proof that free will is an illusion, and that predestination rules the universe.
As the Demon simulates particles ricocheting off of each other, forming atoms, cooling down, then gradually forming stars several billion years ago, it watches matter spin, gravity attract material; Earth forms, then life forms, then Humans slowly evolve, it predicts the chemical reactions going on inside our brains, it knows what we will do, what we will think, and what we will feel.
For the processes of our brain are no different, no less certain than the boiling of water or the constant flickering of minute switches in the circuitry of a computer.
Neurons fire, some adrenaline is released there, some dopamine here, and you get a human thought.
What we perceive as free will is merely routine chemical processes occurring within our brains, and we are no more than clumps of matter floating around in the universe like the coldest space rock, as time moves only forward, and the universe expands outward.
and nothing- nothing is uncertain in the mind of the Demon.

This approach examines how the artist uses a two-dimensional picture plane or the three dimensions of sculptural or architectural space to create his or her art.
The way these individual elements are employed results in representational or non-representational art.
Is the artist imitating an object or image found in nature?
If so, it is representational.
The closer the art hews to perfect imitation, the more the art is realistic.
Is the artist not imitating, but instead relying on symbolism, or in an important way striving to capture nature's essence, rather than copy it directly?
If so the art is non-representational—also called abstract.
Realism and abstraction exist on a continuum.
Impressionism is an example of a representational style that was not directly imitative, but strove to create an "impression" of nature.
If the work is not representational and is an expression of the artist's feelings, longings and aspirations, or is a search for ideals of beauty and form, the work is non-representational or a work of expressionism.
An iconographical analysis is one which focuses on particular design elements of an object.
Through a close reading of such elements, it is possible to trace their lineage, and with it draw conclusions regarding the origins and trajectory of these motifs.
In turn, it is possible to make any number of observations regarding the social, cultural, economic, and aesthetic values of those responsible for producing the object.

Bio
I have a Ph.D. in Art history and theory and an M.A. in English language and literature.
I worked as a Researcher in the Russian Institute for Cultural Reseach. There I partook in organization of more than 10 international conferences on interreligious dialogue and anthropology, held both under the auspices and with direct organizational support from UNESCO. I provided consecutive and simultaneous English/Russian interpretation, translation and proof-reading of the proceedings, support for the participants from abroad.
Later, I was hired as a translator and editor to a software company Peter-Service, where I was responsible mainly for translating and editing translations of instruction manuals for their billing software suite designed for telecom operators. This system is basically a database, so I had to confer with technical writers and programmers to understand what it does and how it does it.
In 2015, I started working as an associate professor at Petersburg State Transport University specialized in training staff for railways. I taught three courses: English, English for Business Purposes, and English for Professional purposes, each term to over 150 graduate and postgraduate students specializing in IT, psychology, railway operation, construction, rolling stock maintenance and more. Occasionally I translated articles on those topics for the faculty members to publish them in peer-reviewed journals.
Since 2016, I have been engaged in working for several clients as a freelance translator at Upwork. My main client was Bloomberg and I am in the Bloomberg Talent Cloud at Upwork. I successfully completed 100% of the 29 jobs I had there and earned more than $30K.
Thus, I have experience in translating in various fields, the main of which are art history, anthropology, finance, IT, databases/programming, railway operation and maintenance.
