I provide translation services from Danish to English (my native language). I pride myself on my ability to write fluent and correct English texts which accurately reflect the content of the original Danish text.
Over recent years I’ve worked within communication and marketing for an international Danish-English educational company based in Copenhagen. As the Danish office’s resident native English speaker I acted as the company’s in-house Danish – English translator, and also produced a large amount of English language copy for websites, brochures, handbooks etc.
I have worked as an in-house translator for a Danish industrial company (producing hi-tech ceramic bearings); where I was responsible for translating the company’s entire website, as well as a wide range of brochures, product data-sheets, instruction manuals etc.
My academic background means that I have excellent research skills, and that I’m used to working with complex problems as well as specialist / technical terminology.
Having lived in Denmark since 2004 I have an excellent understanding of the Danish language and culture. I’m an avid reader, and enjoy a wide range of literature in both Danish and English.
