This abbreviation used to be extremely common; I have the impression it is gradually being ousted by "logistics".

Logically of course, this fits very nicely, as there is no other reference in the list to either aspect, nor to logistics, which one might reasonably expect in a list of functions within a company.
It would nevertheless be appreciated if we could be told what the purpose of this survey is.

In fact, boostrer, if you ask your customer, he might well be able to tell you or find out from his customer - don't be afraid to ask!
