Your translation appears to be in declarative sentences, while the source text is in the imperative. The poet is addressing the sea gull wings, commanding them to flap (or to "flutter," as you put it), and to "not cease" doing so.
The last line begins with a misspelled word. It should be written واطوِ, with a single kasra beneath the last و. The final ي is to be omitted in the imperative form.
Of course, as a translator, you have a great deal of leeway to change things around, within justifiable boundaries. |
