"RaCeVA" (évaluation rapide de l'accès veineux central)
De quoi parle-t-on:
https://gavecelt.it/nuovo/sites/default/files/uploads/Spence...
Il s'agit donc de l'évaluation d'un accès veineux central pour cathétérisation.
Je laisserais la sigle et mettrais une brève description entre parenthès.

Abstract
Ultrasound technology has revolutionized the practice of safer vascular access, for both venous and arterial cannulation.
The ability to visualize underlying structures of the chest, neck, and upper/lower extremities provides for greater
success, speed, and safety with all vascular access procedures. Ultrasound not only yields superior procedural advantages
but also provides a platform to perform a thorough assessment of the vascular structures to evaluate vessel health,
viability, size, and patency, including the location of other important and best avoided anatomical structures—prior to
performing any procedures. Such assessment is best performed using a systematic and standardized approach, as the
Rapid Central Vein Assessment, described in this study.

Note from asker:

Il s'agit bien d'une évaluation des veines : cf. "Vascular assessment prior to any intravascular device insertion is of paramount importance." p.2 ds https://gavecelt.it/nuovo/sites/default/files/uploads/Spence...

Discussion
RaFeVA (Rapid Femoral Vein Assessment), a new protocol, is a rapid and effective tool for the systematic ultrasound evaluation of the veins in the inguinal area and at mid-thigh, conclude Fabrizio Brescia (Unit of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, Vascular Access Team, Centro di Riferimento Oncologico di Aviano, IRCCS, Aviano, Italy) et al in The Journal of Vascular Access (JVA). Describing this new protocol step-by-step, the study authors say it is designed to evaluate patency and calibre of the common and superficial femoral veins and to help interventionalists choose the best venipuncture site before insertion of a femorally-inserted central catheter
