Nach all den vorherigen Quellen wäre 'herbs facilitating nutrient uptake' (ganz vielleicht) eine Option... CL2-
uyuni May 28, 2021:
@ Ramey 'facilitating' sounds good in this context, a bit more universal than 'enabling', be at 'absorption', 'uptake', 'availability' or whatever...Cheers and have a nice weekend!
Rama Bhave May 28, 2021:
uptake or absorption- einschleusen The term absorption can have a number of different meanings. Not everything that is taken up into the enterocyte from the lumen will be absorbed, so the term uptake refers to compounds being transported into the enterocyte. Absorption means that a compound is transported from the enterocyte into circulation. Under most circumstances, compounds that are taken up will then be absorbed.

Was sind Einschleuserpflanzen? Es gibt Pflanzen, die bewirken, dass unser Körper Stoffe besser aufnehmen kann.

agree uyuni : 'uptake', perhaps, rather than 'absorption', as the (vague) term 'Einschleusung' does, at least in my perception, not only deal with biophysics (absorption) but also with biochemistry (i.e. like 'convection' or so) - if one believes in concepts like this.

Thanks uyuni. It could be as you say. Found this - So the term uptake refers to compounds being transported into the enterocyte. Absorption means that a compound is transported from the enterocyte into circulation.

Thanks! This seemed straightforward enough and came to mind first, but left something missing.

herbal bio(availability )enhancer

...if you want to go for pompous
"Uptake enhancers" or "absorption enhancers" may be other options.

Spontaneous suggestions only. I don't know whether there is a standard translation for this term, and if so, what it would be.

Note from asker:
Thanks! An interesting option.
