It could also be "préscrivant"
but we'll never know unless the asker goes back to the client
I'm guessing it might be 'présentoir' — could it be that they do different sized présentoirs according to how many jars of spices they hold? But this isn't 'nombre', so could it be the 'numéro' of the model of présentoir required for this or that sized spice jar?
I think the posiiton and/or how it is actually used in the list could be key clues here.
