Unfortunately this is just a list of the packaging attributes: Have already found certain "proposals" which I don't believe are suitable:
"loaf" which could IMHO be used only for bread; "tube" (don't think so...) and on one website I even found "philo"...any suggestions?

@Wendy Streitparth Thanks again Wendy for you comment. What the website intends is actually the forms that the salami, capocollo etc. have inside the packaging - I believe that what you are speaking of is rather a mixture of softer, fresher meats that are then cooked and eaten straight away rather than dry-cured and eaten at a later date. unfortunately I don't believe that we are talking about "loaves" in this context, even if I know they exist - they are not meatloaves but "pieces" of "tube-shaped" cured meat which are packaged in a certain way...vacuum-packed, CAP, stringed, etc. Thanks anyway for your suggestion. Really appreciate it

I suspect that it refers to the contents of the packaging, perhaps a filone di maiale (suino), ie. (cured) pork loin? It is tube-shaped.

The context indicates that filone probably refers to filone di maiale (or suino), which translates to pork loin. Again seeing the context, I would suggest cured pork loin
