In a preferred embodiment the network in HP is a DMZ. A demilitarized zone (DMZ, also an unmilitarized or demilitarized zone) denotes a computer network with security controlled access options to the connected servers. The systems arranged in the DMZ are shielded by one or more firewalls against other networks (e.g., Internet, LAN). By means of this separation, access to publicity available services (Bastion hosts with, for example, e-mail, WWW. or similar) is allowed while the internal network (LAN) is protected from unauthorized access.
