Hi,
I'm translating some pages from a French retail website into British English. The problematic phrase appears in relation to a bedside lamp.
Here is the full sentence to give you some context: "Lampe à poser de création artisanale de type serviettage."

Having done research, I can see that "serviettage" relates to napkins, but the picture on that link does not really show any evidence of napkins. I'm wondering if this could potentially be referring to the cloth material of the lamp shape. I'm not 100% sure though and am guessing a little bit. Could someone help please?

La mise en relief d’un motif de serviette par cette technique n’est pas conseillée dans la cas où le motif présente beaucoup de détail. En fait, il vaut mieux que ce soit un motif de genre naïf et relativement gros.
En général, on utilise du window color transparent sur le noir et obtient une couche brillante et en relief ... Pour les autres couleurs, je vous conseille d’utiliser le ton sur ton : c’est ce qui marche le mieux, et cela fait vraiment ressortir la partie mise en relief.
