A alguien que se le llama pata dura es por que no puede bailar. No se si eso haga sentido en este contexto. A lo mejor lo que propone Dariusz encaja mas.

agree Ernesto Coppola : Si, en el contexto de un deporte cualquiera se suele escuchar esa frase, en especial en fútbol. Hace referencia a alguien que no es bueno para ese deporte justamente.

useless/worthless piece of @#$%^&*

El término patadura es muy utilizado cuando se habla de fútbol, para decir que un jugador no sirve para nada.
Por eso yo agregaría 'useless' o 'worthless', para enfatizar esa condición de mal jugador (y consecuentemente un pedazo de !@#$%^&*, claro)
