English term

+2015 SDG

English to Spanish Social Sciences Government / Politics Political science
I would like to know what will be the best way to translate this phrase from American English into European Spanish.

It's a translation about politics. Do you think is okay to translate it as 2015 ODS? What the English abbreviation SDG means?

This is the way the client translate it.

Here is the full paragraph for your context:

Advocacy Event
+2015 SDG

Financing for development

ADVOCACY SEMINAR EVENT

Thanks for your help.

Hei yugoslavia.

I don't know about the full context of the text but I am guessing that SDG is refering to "Sustainable Development Goals". If that is the case, then OSD is the correct translation. (Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible).
I would translate it as "OSD post 2015".
Take a look at the web references, you can see that they talk about "post 2015 goals"
Good luck!

Yes, Yugoslavia, thank you for your comments to the previous post. In general these kind of documents use a standardized form of Spanish, that is valid both in Europe and Latin America. Good luck with your translation!

Thanks Mpgorgone. I appreciate it. The conference has also several representatives of Latin America and they sent us this with a very short notice. Did you get my previous message? You responded one of my previous Kudoz questions.
Thank you very much. I was teaching a class when you wrote me.
