I'm just wondering if there is a specific legal way of saying this. It comes from a contract between a manufacturer and customer who will resell the products under their own label

This comes under the Contractual Obligations section:

Si impegna, altresì, a comunicare immediatamente e formalmente a CUSTOMER NAME ogni e qualsivoglia causa di impossibilità temporanea e/o parziale – non derivante da causa soggettiva – che si verificasse nel corso dell'espletamento dei lavori.

This is how I interpret it. You either have circumstances that are Beyond the control of the party that cause temporary delay or causes that are attributable to the Reseller in this case.
