Dzien dobry! Mam! :-) Bylam dzis w sklepie DIY, tu w Anglii, i posprawdzalam wszystkie mozliwe opisy na panelach do ogrodow, bali Iiogolnie timber do roznych celow itp. Znalazlam 3 terminy:

1. Dip treated ( i to jest pewnie najlepszy termin to pytania)
2. Pressure treated/guaranteed to 15 years
3. FSC certified timber

Chyba jednak tak. Znajomy inzynier proponuje po prostu "treated".

Mam dwa linki, gdzie jest mowa o impregnowaniu drewna, by nie murszalo w wilgotnej pogodzie. Wczoraj niefortunnie wybralam Australie, gdzie deszcz czy zalania sa rzadkie, drugi cytat dotyczy wlasnie takich "arid countries", gdzie niekoniecznie jest taka potrzeba.

Mowa tu o tym, ze uzywane do tego preparaty moga byc szkodliwe dla zdrowia, ale faktycznie, gdy to jest do celow budowlanych i bedzie pod ziemia, to pewnie nie zaszkodzi.

When any timber (treated or untreated) is exposed to the weather, the timber will take up and lose moisture from or to the atmosphere as the environment around the timber changes on daily or seasonal basis. The timber will expand or contract when it takes up or loses moisture.

As a result of taking up and losing moisture, the timber will develop surface checking. The severity of the checking will depend on the timber species, the rate at which the moisture content of the timber changes and how long that moisture content is maintained before it changes again.
The application of a protective coating to the timber surface will minimise the effects of weathering of any timber (treated or untreated) in an exposed situation. The protective coating slows down the rate at which the timber will take up or lose moisture. By slowing that rate down, the severity of any checking is considerably reduced.
"Protective coatings include products which penetrate the surface of timber and products which provide a film or coating to the surface of timber".

Treated czy ewent.impregnated dobrze brzmi,Mr Cook Ucichlam po madrym komentarzu Lucyny i uwadze Andrzeja, bo jednak sie zapedzilam nie w ta strone :-). Chyba gdzies tam mi mignelo treated, to by bylo chyba najogolniejsze. Kiedy dealine, moze jeszcze jutro sie pomysli " na swiezo"?
