Spanish term
Vía común
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Telecom(munications)
Tesys
Hello,
I wonder if somebody could help me with this term.
It crops up in a text about TESYS, a data-sharing network, pioneered in Spain in the 1970s.
"Un Tesys5 no es más que un montón de Tesys1 unidos mediante UNA VÍA COMÚN, y esa VÍA COMÚN, controlada por una unidad de control."
What would be the equivalent in English?
Common path/route, joint path/route? I've no idea!
I'd be grateful for any feedback.
Thanks.
Desmond

Comment: ""Or one of yours" didn't exactly inspire me with confidence, but thanks all the same."
