Doch, ich kann mir das jeweils als Angabe des Datentyps der einzelnen Felder vorstellen. Bedeutet dann, dass jedes der Felder 8 bit gross ist.

: Ich finde, dass Doppelwort (doubleword = DW) hier als Angabe der Feldgröße sehr viel Sinn ergibt. Allerdings hat ein Doppelwort 32 Bit (4 Byte).

Durchaus möglich als Bitbreite/Format für dat*E* ID und message ID, wobei "data warehouse" (mir bisher unbekannt) doch plausibler scheint.
