Italian term

ma senza percorsi di abilità e trucchi imprevisti

Italian to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation
This is an expression used in connection with a car rally. The full expression is "Prove impegnative contro i centesimi di secondo, ma senza percorsi di abilità e trucchi imprevisti, nel rispetto delle auto meno recenti e meno manovrabili."

There are lots of types of rallies - the Pro ones have special stages which are basically races divided by 'transfer' periods on roads open to the public where you just have to keep to the official time assigned. Then 'road rallies' and lots of more amateur events which have precision driving tests, gimmick rallies etc. Perhaps this may help http://www.goss.com/rrhchap1.htm
