Discussion

margaret caulfield Mar 2, 2010:
liz, One thing is making a typing mistake (especially when one's so used to writing in Spanish). It's quite another when someone's simply being deliberately downright RUDE and ILL-MANNERED! I really feel rather sorry for you.
margaret caulfield Mar 2, 2010:
Edward, I did NOT suggest that your text was legalese at any moment or in any place. Why are you accusing me of doing so?

Through this notification, I wish to confirm that ... tests were carried out on NN...

This doesn't sound like a legal document to me, but rather a doctor's certificate stating what had been done to NN, and I've enever seen a doctor use "legalese" wording.
