encore un problème avec ce mot "tongue" dans le domaine de l'extrusion d'aluminium!
Critical tongue dies (heat sinks) are not always nitrided.
Je ne crois pas que le mot languette corresponde...
Et si vous me trouvez des images je vous en remercie infiniment!!

„Tongue die” is a die (used in the extrusion process) which has tongue(s). I do not know its name in French.
„Tongue (of an extrusion die): An area of a die surrounded on three sides by the extrusion aperture.”
www.aec.org/techinfo/glossary10.html
„Tongue: that portion of die base metal surrounded by the aperture except at one end, the latter termed base of the tongue.”
www.eaglemouldingsinc.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=kj...ta...
I think „heat sink" is just mentioned here as an example of a profile extruded from aluminium by the use of a tongue die. At the website bellow you can see a heat sink extruded from aluminium. In the Figure the profile is black and the white areas „hanging down” between the parts of the profile „were” the tongues of the die.
